We recommend that lacquered and polished finishes be used indoors only. Patina finishes can be used indoors or out. Green Verde Patina #444 New: Green/Lime patina for copper, brass and bronze. Blue-Green Verde Patina #445 New: Blue-Green patina for copper, brass and bronze. Blue Verde Patina #11 New: Blue turquoise patina for copper, brass and bronze. Flemish Violet Patina C15: Flemish finish for copper, brass and bronze. Tri Brown Patina C1: Chocolate dark brown finish for copper, brass and bronze. Rusty Red Patina (B): Rusty Red patina for copper, brass and bronze. Black Patina C22: Black antique finish for copper, brass and bronze. Polished: Polished requires frequent maintenance to remove tarnish. Brushed Lacquered: brushed finish sealed with clear lacquer to maintain luster. Distressed Lacquered: Distressed patchwork copper clear lacquered to preserve luster. Antiquated Lacquered: Antiquated copper finish clear lacquered to maintain luster. About Patina Finishes

A patina finish is not a paint product. Patina finishes are chemical treatments which age the copper surface, achieving overnight what takes years in nature. By varying the elements of the treatment, a number of colorful results can be obtained. When used outdoors, these finishes will change over time, usually achieving the best look several weeks after initial application. (Running water over the product will speed the process.) Patina finishes can be used indoors or out and can be lacquer coated for indoor use.

About Lacquered Finishes

Lacquered finishes include paint products. In these type finishes, a clear lacquer coating is applied to the copper to preserve the appearance of natural metal and any treatment applied. As with any paint product, wear and tear of the environment--especially ourtdoors, will require the finish to be maintained. We recommend that lacquered and polished finishes be used indoors only.
